Himachal Pradesh has opened its first rural Cloud Kitchen Hub near Shimla. Aimed at empowering local youth and digitizing regional cuisine, the hub provides chefs, delivery logistics, and branding support. The hub uses organic, locally sourced ingredients to prepare traditional dishes that are then sold online nationwide. Local self-government donated the land and the state provided startup subsidies. The initiative is expected to boost employment, preserve culinary heritage, and provide a national platform for Himachali flavors.
